Hand washing in public facilities is a problem. How many times have you seen someone bolt from a urinal, grabbing the exit door handle with barely enough time to close his fly? Habits are not so rosy on the other end of the hallway either.
To curtail the spread of influenza, (and other germs) the World Health Organization (WHO) has prepared a poster for display in restrooms that illustrates thorough hand washing. People who do a quick rinse and pat dry may not waste time reading the entire 11-step procedure. Those concerned about spreading illness might linger long enough to imitate at least half of the suggestions. WHO knows, maybe that person may be the individual that prevents you or your loved ones from contracting the flu.
The tabloid handwash PDF poster (actual size 11.69 x 16.54") can be downloaded from the WHO website. It can be scaled down or enlarged to an optimal viewing size of 17" x 22" and laminated or framed or printed on desktop printers.
