Deciphering Banner Displays

They hang from the ceiling, pop up from the floor, retract or rotate. Banner stands or displays are very popular at businesses and trade shows. Pricing can be as diverse as the variety of styles. To eliminate confusion, rather than focus on the lowest cost, first identify how and where the display is to be used.

As one might expect, two significant factors affecting price are material quality and banner size. Reactive Imaging strives to feature stands with durable construction. The cost of graphic design, which can exceed printing price, should not be overlooked. Design can be part of an overall campaign strategy, a photographic montage, or just a few words.

How to Choose What's Right for You?

Will the smallest banner stand suffice? It depends upon where it is used and the distance from which it will be viewed. A 4-foot by 7-foot display overpowers a reception counter since the message is often seen from a very short distance. At trade shows, where everyone has a display, the largest display available may necessary to stand out in the crowd. A rotating stand can provide even more visibility when surrounded by a sea of static messages.

Because of sun and wind, outdoor displays have different requirements than those used in doors. Generally outdoor displays have a large base, often secured to the ground by means of a water filled hollow ballast or with stakes pounded into the ground on grassy areas.

Three feet is a versatile width used for reception areas. This size banner display can serve double duty at small conferences. For large trade shows, perhaps held in convention centers with extremely high ceilings, a 3-foot wide banner can easily be dwarfed. For such events, consider 4-foot width as the minimum. Some modular models can even be connected together to form an impressive graphic backdrop.

Is the same message repeated displayed or is there a need to periodically refresh the banner graphics? Selecting a stand without a permanently applied banner can be important. Reactive Imaging offers a program that is ideal for customers attending annual trade shows. Lower up-front cost provides a means to afford larger banners without the added expense for graphics. The Perpetual Banner Plan even allows annual reprinting.
