Filling in the flaws of the Pantone Color Cue 2 and merging assets from its acquisition by X-Rite, Pantone has released two versions of a new color management kit called ColorMonki Design (white) and ColorMonki Photo (black) for designers and photographers respectively. Except for unit color, the tape-measure-looking hardware is the same; bundled software varies. Designers get Palettes Creation software compatible with professional graphics applications.
